It’s a bit late to do the recap after new year fireworks, but still it’s better than never. Here was my resolution for 2017. It’s cruel, but let’s see how many items can I cross off from the to-do list.
- Learn to play a song and sing to it. –Failed
- Design a T-shirt and sell–Failed
- Go to Korean DMZ–Failed
- Change mobile–Checked
- Bookkeeping–Checked
- Learn Korean by self and pass TOPIK Level 2–Checked
- Take family portrait with dress code–Failed
- Workout–Half checked. Did great in the first 6 months, but got lazy in the 2nd half.
Turns out failed were more than checked. It’s a bit frustrating but I think I could do better in 2018 if I set up goals right. Among the undone, I decided to put off some challenges later, and keep catching up the rest with more specific bars, while at the same time add some new resolutions. Here they are:
Hard parts:
- TOEIC : Achieve listening and writing 900 and speaking proficiency at level 7.
- TOPIK: Pass level 5.
- Change a new job.
- Live alone.
- Do yoga once a week. 40 mins up per time.
- Deep squat: 20 repeats per time, 3 times a week.
- Save money and keep bookkeeping.
- Meet a friend per month.
Fun parts:
- Learn to play a song and sing to it.
- Take a family portrait.
- Create a picture book.
- Go camping.
- Buy a leather jacket.
- Write diary.
- Read 10 books. (Books about Korean/English learning don’t count. )
- Watch drama series: 2 Japanese, 3 Korean, 1 English.
- Watch Hikaru no Go. (看《棋靈王》)
- Travel. (Currently in mood for Sri Lanka and Kyoto.)
Above is about 80% for this year. Would add some more in private whenever I got inspired. I will end them well!! I will!!!
